Changing a basic space into something special for a building from the '70s is one of the toughest but most rewarding challenges. The owners had a sophisticated but modern style with three children who would soon be 'tweens. We had limited time, a strict budget and were able to find the right balance of sleek, modern simplicity that read "warmth" in its final composition. The result was contemporary, and the combining of classic materials, such as stone, wide planked limed wood floors, ceramic and new door treatments and door hardware truly transformed the open spaces from the foyer through the main living and dining rooms. The greatest complement one can ever hope for in these trying projects is referrals: and that's what happened even during construction! We love this complete makeover - as you can see in the before and after video - because the difference was significant. It was love at first sight upon their return!!
